Mark Hooper is a News Shooter with 20 years experience working around the world. I am based in Melbourne, Australia.

I am an all rounder; able produce, shoot and edit my own news packages. I have the latest camera equipment and lenses and know my way around various editing platforms and broadcast satellite systems. I have first aid and Hostile Environment Awareness Training.

Career highlights have been filming on a boat in the Sydney to Hobart yacht race, live broadcasts from refugee camps in Africa and the Middle East and reporting from the worlds newest country South Sudan.

I started off my career at TVNZ in New Zealand training as a cameraman then headed off to Europe where I worked for many years in London. After a stint back in New Zealand, I moved to Spain and set up my own production company where I freelanced around Europe for various news agencies. Since 2009 I have been based in Australia.
